Varṇāśrama

In this previously unpublished essay written by Swami B.G. Narasiṅgha Mahārāja on August 11th 2010, Mahārāja answers the question ‘ How many misconceptions does it take to make one a sahajiyā?” and presents a short quiz at the end of his article.

In “Daiva Varṇāśrama” written in 2007, Śrīla Narasiṅgha Mahārāja explains the difference between daiva-varṇāśrama and asura-varṇāśrama, and how Sarasvatī Ṭhākura conducted his mission based upon daiva-varṇāśrama principles.

In this short article, ‘The Colour for Sannyāsīs’ from December 2010, Śrīla Narasiṅgha Mahārāja describes the original colour of the cloth used by sannyāsīs in the line of Sarasvatī Ṭhākura and how in modern times, this has become obsolete.

“Bābājī Sannyāsa” written by Śrīla Narasiṅgha Mahārāja in 2002, is in response to questions concerning the awarding of bābājī-veśa in the line of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura and A.C. Bhaktivedānta Svāmī Prabhupāda.
