God Helps Those Who Help Themselves (12/16/02)

I have had some emails with G___ Dāsa and it seems that he is at a crossroads. I have suggested that he take a one month spiritual R&R at the āśrama of T__ Prabhu. It would probable be very good for him and he could then decide what is his next step.
I would have invited him to India, but I think that would have been to extreme for his present situation. I have much affection for G___ Dāsa and it pains us all to see him suffering under māyā’s whip. I really hope and pray that one day G____ Dāsa will become peacefully settled in his spiritual life of serving Kṛṣṇa free from māyā. We have given our blessings, but G__’s success will largely depend on his self-determination. God helps those who help themselves.
