‘Isolationist’ Means to Stop Your Spiritual Progress (02/08/12)

Dear ______ Mahārāja,

Nice report but two things not good. One that S____ is more inclined to ____ Mahārāja’s explanation of the origin of the jīva rather than the explanation given by Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja and our previous ācāryas. Pursue this point with S______ and if he sticks with _____ Swami’s explanation, then I see little point in his visiting me in Czech. I don’t want overlapping conceptions in our mission. You can mention this point also to P______ as he has some relationship with S______.

I have attached a short statement from Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja wherein he thoroughly condemns the idea that our suffering in this material world is God’s doing. Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja clearly states that our suffering is due to our free will… we chose to be here.

Anyway i am very disappointed to hear this news about S______.

Second thing is that becoming ‘isolationist’ means to stop your
spiritual progress. Reverse your motors and remain in the forefront of the preaching in our āśrama until Kṛṣṇa takes you Back to Godhead. Keep up your sādhana, but remain a preacher and you remain dear to Kṛṣṇa.

Hoping this meets you well.

Gaura Haribol,
Swami Narasingha
