It Was a Mistake and an Insult (08/11/02)

Daṇḍavats B____ Mahārāja,

Hare Kṛṣṇa.

Nice talking to you. But I forgot to mention that the manuscript is still in the editing process. The finished manuscript will be much better than what it is at present. So I guess we should wait on that.

Everyone around me feels that Iskcon simply wants to use me as a thorn to remove a thorn and when the work is done, I will be discarded. Everyone feels that it was a mistake and an insult to me that the GBC refused to acknowledge your request to form a permanent committee to liaison with me on various philosophical issues and topics concerning the Gauḍīya Maṭha. Truthfully speaking, the whole thing pisses me off a little bit.

Really, I think that at least the North American GBC should come to a unanimous conclusion that I am welcome and invited to Śaraṇāgati to preach to the sincere devotees who want to resist the X__ Mahārāja campaign. It’s only a matter of time. If the devotees at Śaraṇāgati do not get something positive soon as an alternative to the X___ Mahārāja camp, then sooner or later I really think that the X___ Mahārāja camp will gain the majority and the other devotees like B___, Mother Y___ and others are going to be in great distress.

So I am rethinking my discussion with you on the phone today and if you can get a GBC approval as B____ Prabhu requested, then I will be happy to make time and go to Śaraṇāgati for preaching. Otherwise, the hands of B___ are tied and fate is just around the corner.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Praṇāmas,

Swami B.G. Narasiṅgha
