Nityānanda’s Sannyāsa (04/24/06)
Dear Śrīpāda V____ Mahārāja,
Daṇḍavats. All glories to Śrī Śrī Guru and Gaurāṅga.
I read your email with interest, but it settles with me as one who is simply begging the question. Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja, Śrīla Purī Mahārāja and a host of the disciples of Sarasvatī Ṭhākura do not accept that Nityānanda was a sannyāsī. Therefore, in my own best interest, I hold the same opinion.
The list of the differences between us is long and I see no reconciliation for these matters in sight. Nor do I have much time to spend discussing these matters with parties that are entrenched in their own opinions.
So I see no need for further discussion between us on these matters.
