LettersWhy I wrote a Commentary to the Bhagavad-gītā (10/07/11)
Letters‘Banana Problems’ are Not Encouraging (10/20/11)

No Snacking (10/20/11)

First of all, it sounds ridiculous that we are worried about ‘our stash’ of bananas. (Plant more bananas!!!)

When the Deity comes to _____ we will follow a program of prasādam that is similar to Govindajī Gardens in India or any other āśrama/temple, in that only food that is offerable (some exceptions) will be prepared in the kitchen. Devotees will take only prasādam and everyone can say goodbye to chips and other junk food. Also no snacking whenever one feels like having a bite to eat, etc.

It is clear in my mind what we will offer etc. but I would rather wait until I get to _____ before we get into the details of that. We will have a standard āśrama, as in all our other āśrama such as Mulki and Govindajī Gardens and we follow simular programs in all respects.

We can talk more later. In the meantime be peaceful and don’t worry.

Gaura Haribol,
Swami Narasingha
