Our Hearts are Heavy (10/13/12)

My Dear ______,

Hare Krishna.

Myself and all the devotees at Govindaji Gardens are deeply saddened to hear about the passing away of our dear ______. Our hearts are heavy and our deep affections and thoughts are on _______.

Kṛṣṇa is the maintainer and protector of His devotee, so we can be assured that Kṛṣṇa is taking care of _______. Kṛṣṇa has either welcomed her to His eternal abode, Goloka Vṛndāvana, or He has made arrangements for her next life so that she can continue her devotional service. In either case only great fortune awaits ______. Although we are sad due to separation from her we should not lament. She is eternally a devotee of Kṛṣṇa and she will be very happy if we all continue our service to Kṛṣṇa and not allow māyā or lamentation to interfere with our devotional service.

My humble suggestion is that her govardhana-śīlā should be taken to_____ and ______ will install the worship in the little temple on Govardhana Hill. In this way she will always be remembered at there. I cannot forget that it was _____’s transcendental tricks that led to the purchase of the land in _____ and we should never forget that her desire and service has helped to make ______ what it is today and what it will be in the future.

With heartfelt affection,
Swami Narasingha
