Please Say Something Kṛṣṇa Conscious! (05/11/13)

Dear _______,

I am always happy to receive your emails, however I must express that there is little or nothing in your report that truly interest me.

What I mean to say is that you have not mentioned anything Kṛṣṇa conscious, not even prasādam. As your guru you appear to me to be one who, like others, is just rotting away in the material world trying to suck out some independence and insignificant enjoyment.

In my position I see little to no value in such things. You do not write to tell me what Kṛṣṇa conscious books or articles you are reading or what lectures you have heard or what questions you might have.

Instead you write to tell me about the non-devotees you are working for and how you might have your own apartment soon – not very eventful for a human being who has the opportunity to approach the perfection of life.

Human life, my friend, is very rare and very valuable. According to your birth and your training as a young man, I would have to say the you are wasting most of it, or even all of it.

So the next time you email me, please say ‘something’ Kṛṣṇa conscious so that I can know that all the time and energy we have put into you thus far is having some positive effect.

There are 7 billion people on this planet and most of them are two legged animals. In the next life (which comes faster than you think) they will be 4 legged animals or worse.

So do yourself and your Guardians a favor and try to show a little Kṛṣṇa consciousness when you correspond with me.

Your Affectionate Well Wisher,
Swami Narasingha
