Remember that the Devotees of Kṛṣṇa are Your Only True Friends (11/20/11)
Thank you for your long and sincere email.
I am happy to receive your email and to know that your trip to India and all the association with the devotees has given you such wonderful inspiration to progress in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
About your question: YES! A food business would be nice. Lots of details to make it successful but with _______ help and your hard work it can be successful. We can discuss more details when the idea becomes more of a reality.
To do a simple form of Deity sevā in your house will be very good. Just make sure that the Deity isn’t standing unattended for hours and hours. After doing your sevā, each time you should close the Deity and make very sure that contaminated pots, etc are not used.
While you are living with many people, still going to school and trying to start a business it is not necessary for you to chant gāyatrī. But mahā-mantra on your beads you should chant nicely everyday. That is more important. And morning time is the best time for japa. So try to chant japa daily and sometimes do kīrtana or kīrtana with your friends. But remember, the devotees of Kṛṣṇa are your only true friends in this world.
A service connection is the real connection to guru and Kṛṣṇa. Without a real service connection we are lost of in limbo at best. So your idea to do transcriptions is good. _____ Mahārāja can give you service in that way. Put service to guru, Kṛṣṇa and the Vaiṣṇavas in the center of your life and you will make spiritual advancement and be happy.
Hoping this meets you well.
