Time/Space Reality and Kṛṣṇa (02/12/11)

Thanks for the lead. Interesting read.

At a glance, more or less what he is saying is true except for some important details. According to Vedic knowledge, super-consciousness (Paramātmā), which is present everywhere, is what makes the material time/space reality exist. So the material world does exist, but is not independent of life or super-life, especially super-life (Kṛṣṇa). Because of ‘our’ consciousness the material world is manifest, but we are not the independent cause. Kṛṣṇa (super-consciousness) is the cause of all causes – sarva-kāraṇa-kāraṇam. Time/space reality is not ‘Godless;’ they only perceive it as such because of their lower state of consciousness. Kṛṣṇa is everywhere!

Deepak Chopra is quoted, but Deepak is a theoretical māyāvādī. He is not even realised in Brahman, what to speak of Paramātmā or Bhagavān realisations. Actually māyāvādīs are another type of atheists.

I’d like to get that book and examine the theory more closely.  Certainly beats the socks off of the idea of only matter being the source of everything.
