We Have Many Affectionate Guardians (01/23/03)
V____ Dāsa Prabhu,
Hare Kṛṣṇa.
Thank you for your email below and question. I am leaving for the airport in a few minutes so I will have to keep this email short.
I am sure that Śrīla G___ Mahārāja, who is my old and dear friend, is certainly the Guardian for many sincere Vaiṣṇavas. Actually we have many, many Guardians but in my humble mission ‘four’ are prominent. Srila Puri Mahārāja ‘connects in here’ because he is a pure devotee of Kṛṣṇa who was the abode of love of God, the affectionate well wisher of the devotees and he showered me wirth affection and love. Śrīla Purī Maharaja is also the śikṣā-guru of many of my disciples who served him for many years. I am also the humble friend of many of Śrīla Purī Mahārāja’s disciples and so we are an intimate family guided by affection’s force. Śrīla Bodhayana Mahārāja is also recognised by Śrīla Purī Mahārāja himself as the extension of the mercy of Śrīla Purī Mahārāja, so one might then ask “why not six guardians?” The truth is that we have many affectionate guardians to take us back to Home, back to Godhead.
It sounds as though you may have some divine attraction for Śrīla G___ Mahārāja by the grace of Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja, and if you do then I recommend that you take shelter at Śrīla G___ Mahārāja’s lotus feet.
I hope this meets you well.
Praṇāms,
Swami B.G. Narasiṅgha
