‘Sindhu River – How India Got Her Name’ was first written in April 2017 by Swami B.G. Narasingha. In this article, Swami Narasingha gives a history of the Sindhu River and how Bhārata-varṣa came to be known as India. He also discusses the notion that Jesus came to India.
This short article was written by Swami B.G. Narasiṅgha (Jagat-Guru Swami) for the Iskcon World Review in November 1984. Herein, Narasiṅgha Mahārāja shows how the founder of the Sikh religion, Guru Nānak, met with Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu in Jagannātha Purī.
‘Siddha Deha Revealed’ was written by Swami B.G. Narasingha in 1992 for Gauḍīya Vedānta magazine. This article was originally written when one of Narasingha Maharaja’s close sannyāsī godbrothers became bewildered by a new book describing siddha-praṇālī, siddha-deha etc. Swami Narasingha explains the true understanding according to our paramparā.
‘Self-Manifest Deities’ was written by Swami B.G. Narasingha on October 16th 2006. At the time of writing this essay, a phenomena of milk-drinking deities of Gaṇeśa was occurring in India. Narasingha Maharaja addresses this briefly, then gives a history of self-manifest Deities, and finally discusses the Deities established by Prabhupāda in Māyāpura and how they have been eclipsed.
‘The Secret of Prema – Rasika or Sahajiyā?’ was written by Swami Narasingha in 1996 for Gauḍīya Vedānta magazine. In this article, Narasingha Maharaja discusses the topic of rāgānuga-bhakti and how such a method should not be taken cheaply.
‘Scholarship vs Divine Revelation’ was first written by Swami B.G. Narasingha in December 2002. In this article Narasingha Maharaja defends the reputation of Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura from a scholar who claims that some of the works of the Ṭhākura are ‘pious forgeries.’
‘Śāstra-nindā – Rejecting the Śāstra’ was written by Swami Narasingha in 1996. This short article is in response to a statement made by a sannyāsī against the śāstra. Narasingha Maharaja then explains the severity of śāstra-nindā as a nāma-aparādha.
In ‘Sarasvatī Prabhupāda paramparā – Part 2’ which was posted on VNN in April 1998, Swami B.G. Narasingha continues defending our paramparā from the anti-party, who claim that Bhaktivinoda and Sarasvatī Ṭhākura were conditioned souls. This article was edited and published in Swami Narasingha’s book, “The Authorized Sri Caitanya Saraswat Parampara.”
‘Sarasvatī Prabhupāda Paramparā-Part 1’ was first published on VNN on March 14th 1998. In this detailed article, Swami B.G. Narasingha deflects various accusations by the ‘anti-party’ concerning the legitimacy of the śikṣā-paramparā of Śrīla Sarasvatī Ṭhākura. Much of the information in this article was later used in Swami Narasingha’s book, “The Authorized Sri Caitanya Saraswat Parampara.”
‘Sannyāsa Re-initiation’ was first published on VNN on January 13th, 1999. In this open letter, Swami B.G. Narasingha explains the circumstances of his change of name, answering the question whether or not he was ‘re-initiated’ by Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja.
