Founder Acārya (08/22/13)

Daṇḍavats Swami,

In many Bengali publications of Prabhupāda, Śrīdhara Mahārāja, Keśava Mahārāja, Śānta Mahārāja, Purī Mahārāja and Bhaktisiddhānta — all use the term “Pratiṣṭhata-ācārya”. This means ‘establisher’ or ‘founder-ācārya.’

In some cases they write in Sanskrit the words “Saṁsthāpaka-ācārya”. This also means ‘establisher’ or ‘founder ācārya.’
