Start Down the Path Immediately (06/27/11)

Dear K___Swami,
I receive your brief email and have noted the contents.

Today I was in direct contact with devotees in Czech and they requested me to make one request from you that might bring some harmony or at least set the minds of a few innocent devotees at peace.

My request is that since you will be at ______ house for a short time, if you would immediately call L____ and invite him to come and speak with you so you can explain to him what it is that you request of his wife as your disciple. L____ says he is willing to drive to speak with you immediately. This may very well be a simple solution to what otherwise could easily grow into a bigger problem for simple-hearted and sincere devotees. That is my humble request.

If you truly  “hope that one day in the future the relationships can normalize” then there is no time better than the present than to act in such a way as to start down that path immediately.

On another note between you and I – I am not “Gauḍīya Maṭha’. I am a direct disciple of Śrīla Prabhupāda and his sannyāsa disciple since 1976. I think maybe you had not joined ISKCON by that time. Since 1972 I am friends with H.H. _____ Swami and I wrote him directly concerning this matter because the issue at hand was between his disciple and my disciple.

Otherwise I have no grievance with you or with ISKCON. According to my memory I can only recall speaking to you once and that was in Māyāpura in 1994 just after you had been shot and were recovering. I wished you well and a speedy recovery.

I wish you well once again.

Swami Narasingha
