Just For the Record…(04/24/06)
Dear Śrīpāda V____ Mahārāja,
Daṇḍavats. All glories to Śrī Śrī Guru and Gaurāṅga.
In discussing our recent exchange with V___Mahārāja we have been reminded that on more than one occasion, devotees from different quarters have suggested that a meeting with _____ Mahārāja might clarify some of the issues that stand between his camp and others.
With this in mind, I wanted to say that I would be willing to meet with _____ Mahārāja along with your good self, T_____ Mahārāja,
P____ Mahārāja, V_____ Mahārāja and any other two sannyāsīs (our godbrothers) of _____ Mahārāja’s choosing to discuss, in a Vaiṣṇava manner, some of the issues that stand between us.
Honestly speaking though, I don’t think that any of us would really push or go out of their way for such a meeting, but I am suggesting it anyway just for the record or in case Kṛṣṇa wants such a meeting to happen. About the only time I could see such a meeting taking place would be during Kārttika, and that too depending on if everyone of us were present in Vṛndāvana at the same time. I don’t think that any one opinion would prevail exclusively in such a meeting, but for the record such a meeting may be telling.
Anyway, please think it over and let me know your thoughts.
