You are Getting OLD, and Death Can Come at Any Moment. (08/19/01)

Hare Kṛṣṇa.

If I take initiation from Śrīla G___ Mahārāja will You let me to continue my relation with You meaning to see You here in the west or to be able to visit You in India some time in the future?

Yes, if you take initiation from G____ Mahārāja our relationship will continue in future, but you should remember that your main duty will be to serve Śrīla G___ Mahārāja according to his desire and the desire of those senior Vaiṣṇavas who represent him. In my opinion, there is no person more qualified on this planet to guide you in Kṛṣṇa consciousness than Śrīla G___ Mahārāja. He is the dearmost servant of Śrīla Śrīdhara Mahārāja. In comparison, I am simply a glow-worm!

How this will go with R____ taking sannyāsa?If he will take sannyāsa from you, will I be able to come and see you and hear from you?

Just forget about R___ and let him take sannyāsa. One of your problems is that you have too many men in your life and you keep putting yourself in the centre. This is your māyā, illusion. You should learn to put guru and Kṛṣṇa in the centre and you should remain as a humble servant.

I have full faith that time will smooth out all this bad things from past and you will let me to continue my śikṣā relation with you with a heart free of heaviness which my offences brought in. Concerning R____, I still need to leave it up to Him. We had served Kṛṣṇa together for the past eight years, maybe not the best way we could but we try…so if he is in peace with idea of me either remarry or be on my own, if I can handle āśrama living permanently and stay alone from now on, then he is free to do whatever His heart is dictating him, I wish Him all the best.

My advise to R____ will be to stop all correspondence with you and prepare himself for entering the senior years of his life by being always absorbed in Kṛṣṇa’s service. If he accepts sannyāsa that will be good for him.

You should also realise that you are getting OLD, and death can come at any moment. The living together of men and women is simply to enjoy sex life in various ways, but when death comes you will be very sorry. So give up all that nonsense and surrender to Śrīla G____ Mahārāja as your life and soul. And forget about R____and do not correspond with him anymore. Put an end to that chapter and get on with your spiritual life and become a good disciple of Śrīla G___ Mahārāja. That is my final instruction.

That’s all I have to say, and until I hear that you are following the instructions above, then I have nothing more to say to you or time to continue these correspondences.
