Finding ‘Like Minded’ Souls… (02/23/19)

Daṇḍavats _______ Mahārāja,

Finding ‘like minded’ souls amongst GBC godbrothers might prove an impossible task, or even from amongst other ISKCON leaders, but finding ‘like minded’ godbrothers amongst the multitude of devotees, first, second and even third generation devotees isn’t so difficult.

My Youtube channel “Let’s Talk” is resonating with a good number of viewers and on a wide variety of subjects, many of the subjects pertain to ISKCON past and present. The “Book Changes” interview with Garuḍa Prabhu has received 2200 views. The most recent video “ISKCON sues Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Dāmodara” has 440 views in the last twenty hours. Emails and comments are pouring in and devotees world wide are actually shocked that such a court case could be happening and dragging on now for 13 years.

As regards the court case, it will eventually reach the Supreme Court and there ISKCON is going to lose completely. When that happens their loss is going to be more than is yet imagined. Having created no good will or decent relationship with the Gosvāmīs at Rādhā-Dāmodara, when the court case is over ISKCON will not be included in the service of Śrīla Prabhupāda in his bhajana-kuṭīra. I think that from a spiritual point of view that will be a great loss for ISKCON.

I have always been willing to help save the situation so that ISKCON is guaranteed service in the bhajana-kuṭīra, but sadly three times negotiations have failed. However, there is still an opportunity for reconciliation with the Gosvāmīs and I am certain it is a path Śrīla Prabhupāda would insist be taken immediately. ISKCON should simply drop the court case. No money, no strings attached, and then come to meet with me (as the representative of Rādhā-Dāmodara and the Gosvāmīs) to discuss the relationship going forward with the Gosvāmīs and how the day to day service to Śrīla Prabhupāda in his bhajana-kuṭīra is to be carried out and by whom.

ISKCON-willing, this could be a great step forward and open the door for further discussions and cooperation between godbrothers and other Vaiṣṇavas. Or if ISKCON wishes to continue the court case against Rādhā-Dāmodara then bitter feelings, aparādha and a lack of cooperation will continue.

There is no way Śrīla Prabhupāda would ever have filed such a case against Rādhā-Dāmodara, nor would he agree to continue the case for even one more day, what to speak of for the past 13 years.

Hoping this meets you well.

Your obedient servant,

Swami Narasingha
